1″ ID / 2″ OD Garage Door Torsion Spring Center Plastic Bushing

Garage Door Nylon Bushing Bearing 1″ Inside Diameter with 2″ Outside Diameter and Raised Lip.

This nylon busing is used in a standard garage door torsion system and helps the torsion system run more effectively. 2″ O.D. for center support only. This acts as a spacer to keep the tube centered between the springs and only ONE is required per pair of springs. It may be placed in either spring.

This black nylon bushing rests inside the stationary cone, but is not secured to the center support bracket.

The garage door 1″ nylon bushing is installed inside one of the torsion springs to keep the torsion bar from getting cut by the center bracket and from hitting or rubbing the springs as the garage door operates. This is typically industry standard from most garage door manufacturers. The life expectancy is 10,000 cycles with a capacity of 75 lbs.
